Please excuse my insecurity
It's just that having you as mine is such an absurdity
I spent my childhood viewing your beauty from the other side
Now it seems unreal to get a taste of what’s inside
I’ve been waiting for this moment
Almost sure it’d never come
Until you slid your hands in mine
As we stared upon the sun
I used to count off the days until our union would end
Now I’m counting off the days until you’re here with me again
Maybe this is love
A joyous requited feeling
