a day without laughter is a day wasted

I outline your silhouette in the sky:
Nine stars make one hand,
And ten make the other.
Your right hand was always bigger than mine.
One leg is in the air,
Like you plan to skip your way
From earth to space,
And then back again to take me with you.
Your arms are in the shape of a circle,
Like when you were a ballerina.
You would jump on your toes
Until the sun disappeared behind the trees.
Your neck spins to me;
I miss the freckle in between your collarbone.
Your mouth twinkles,
Stars die when you talk to me.
I guess it means something
When someone is willing
To turn off the light in the sky
Just to say hi.
