They asked me
why come all this way
for a baseball game
in which your boyfriend will not play
i like to watch
him and his awkward chicken legs
shuffle on to the field
when someone makes a run
and bump his fist with boys who are not his friends
he does it for him
thats why i come
and sit through the cold
he does it for him
