You took my heart and made it break
You would never give but would always take
Did you care about us at all?
Remember those times in the fall?
We jumped, ran, and fell in the leaf piles
It was one of the times I saw your smile
I may see you again
Or maybe I won't
But no matter what I'll remember you
Smiling ear to ear
And remember it was a time when I was free of fear
