Favorite Quote:
The world is strange, if you don't want to shatter, be strange too. (G.F)

Pastel Sunrise
breaks through the sky.
Lighted day
for you and I.

Naked trees
on sparkling floors.
Icy flowers
on glassy doors.

Snowy hills,
and icy streets.
Silent mourns,
and painful weeps.

Pastel sunrise
breaks through the sky.
Once the colors aren't anymore bright.
Your feelings aren't anymore light.

The author's comments:
This was originally a writing exercise. I reorganized and changed some things to create rhymes. But I guess I won't use this way of writing for my prospective poems, I simply don't like this way of writing.
