There are millions of people out in the world who will tell you that you can't. All you've gotta do is turn around and say - Watch Me.

In the depths of the state of Alabama
Lived a woman who helps change our lives.
It was during the civil rights movement
Where the solution was found in bullets and knives.

Rosa Parks, the mother of civilization
Changed how we saw the ways of segregation.
To think it was all caused by a small "no"
And A man on a bus putting on a frightening show.

On December 1st, 1955
Mrs. Parks was blamed for causing strife.
She then spent one night in the can,
But the conflict grew between the white and black man.

Four decades after she refused to the white man
And many attempts from great activists,
Mrs. Parks saw an end to legalized seperation
And finally the frustrations and hatred had quit.
