Darkness paints this earth and sky black,
Empty in all corners of this sea,
Alone and imprisoned with my skull cracked,
This is where you will find me.

An ethical dilemma and an ignorant mind,
Finds himself traveling a dark road,
But do not pity these events which I describe,
For I have made this darkness my humble abode.

I must find forgiveness to see the light,
From a friend to whom I have committed a crime,
But perhaps it is too late and I have left sight,
For in darkness there is no parole to shorten this infinite time,

But if you would join me in the shadows it would bear true healing,
For I grow melancholy with this loneliness and lack of sun,
And all the apologies in the world could not express my true feelings,
So admit your sins, and forgive me, for in darkness two always triumphs against one.
