Lurking
behind me, an obscurity projected against the air-

Whispering, Its hot breath

slipping

down

my

neck.
Awakened from perdition,
I anticipate the treason
of this creature.

Begrudgingly the ringleader , abiding by

me- its master.
Chained into my throne,
A crown embedded preeminently

atop

my head.

Demanding an escape from its claws,
I’ll have built myself

a sepulchre, a barricade

from
the

sun
But alas! I

depreciate

upon its paws.

Can

the

captain endorse a mutiny unprovoked?

Swiftly ambushed, taken hostage-

A victim to infiltrations of my

consciousness

How

lucid and pure

an ignorance remains-
When those timorous of p h a n t o m s neglect

What compensates for a necklace,
Grasping

at your throat as

Children on playgrounds rejoice

with

their

shadows.
