Truth

Truth is the thing, which cannot sink
That sails along the soul,
And ceases to find a wave too high,
And sails on—without fail.

Truth is the coals that light the fire,
The fire that never dims,
And ceases to emit warmth--
And smolders on—without fail.

Truth is an old tractor, which cannot fail,
Which will tow on –
Never finding a load too heavy,
And pulls on—without fail.

Truth is a rare commodity,
One you cannot find easily,
Make sure you spend it wisely,
And spend on—without fail.
