carry on
Sticks and stones do break bones, and did you read that text?
The cruel words formed in pixels that mean nothing to someone else.
When the message is received all you hear is a beep, but it’s much more than a beep. In that beep there are words like stupid, useless, or even, go die.
The words haunt you every dream and taunt your everyday.
Why bother living?
YOU CARRY ON.
The people you tell hear your words but do nothing to help. You try to get the help you need so desperately but it doesn’t come.
When someone does something you get singled out even more, as if to be shunned by you own friends.
Why do you deserve it?
YOU CARRY ON.
Even though it’s hard,
You carry on!
Try and try again because you NEED to.
It’s not ok; never ok to be bullied, to be the victim.
DON’T TELL ME IT’S OK!
Because I know it’s not, and so do you.
I CARRY ON, and wake up every morning to regret ever being born.
I CARRY ON.
