Work.

Strive.
Take.

Late.

Laughed at.

Mocked at.
Toiled.

Pain.

God.

There?
No.

Say.

Sentenced to.

Learned to.
Revenge.

Paid.

Jew.

Phew!
Take.

Away.

The author's comments:
I finished the book the Merchant of Venice and was absolutely appalled by the discrimination against Jews that the characters and Shakespeare had. I decided to write a poem from a Shylocks point of view.
