As I walked past the aisle
Of my dreams,
The dreams and aspirations which my eyes had seen.
Blink! And they were shattered,
Not by a stone or a storm you see,
But by a choice NOT MY OWN!


I was a bird,
Who soared high,
Sailing towards his dream above,
Then a day came when he stood at crossroads.
Waiting for the moment of truth
But he took a path eluded by thoughts
That were not his own.
He straddled to the choice not his own,
Hoping to succeed against odds unknown
And thoughts not his own.
Will he survive the path?
Only his fate will know!
As he went on a path not he chose,
And if he survives, he will carry a stone
Flashing in his mind that it was a choice not his own….
Alas.
