as we walk up the frets
i wonder dose he know me
and as my single note strums out
like a web
he fills the room with spiders
there is a place of tranquility
in those notes
and i wounder can he see it
as the song that is our connection
comes crashing down
i see that my name is lost
amongst the rubble that was
once beautiful
i do not know him
i do not see him
he is simply a necessity of my life
never in it
as we walk up the frets
i wonder dose he know me
