Burnt

They stand and watch,
As the flames rise above,
As the ashes float down silently,
They stand and watch

Snickering at the horror,
Of the burning house,
Letting the secrets spill out,
Snickering at the horror

Watching the hours tick by,
Slowly and painfully,
A knife digging into my back,
Watching the hours tick by

They stand and watch,
As the flames rise above,
As the ashes float down silently,
They stand and watch

Eating away at the flesh,
Tearing it off your soul,
Screaming out in pain,
Eating away at the flesh

Walking away smiling,
At the sight they left in their path,
At the destruction and pain,
Walking away smiling,

Burned

wowowowowowowow! I absolutely love the emotion u so effortlessly spilled on the reader. The imagery is extremely vivid! It would be so amazing if maybe u could take this idea and make it into a short story/novel? Anyhow, ur a great writer! :)

This is so sad!!  GREAT job with this, though!!!  It takes a lot of skill to be able to make someone feel the way that you can!!!!
