Rising the scimitar
Isn’t what I call courage
Against time and motion
Isn’t what I define courage
No synonyms could ever define this
Ever known battle-word
Far from the imagination
Where the unknown secrets lie
Lies courage
No man could ever define it the best
Except the one who fears the worst
A pessimist, I believe
Could define the true courage,
The ever known battle-word
Walking down that thorny path
Knowing what lies ahead
A true leader,
Defines Courage
Swords can be lifted by every unknown hand
Mastery lies in knowing what to rumple
Souls or those dark emotions
Is what I define courage.

One of my friends in the school had asked me to eat a piece of chips fallen on the floor rolled with dust. This poem came out of that abstract idea of what it means to have courage!
