My Snowflake Moment

A gentle fragile flutter,
From a place beyond the great grey skies,
Enters my atmosphere,
Landing gracefully on my window,
White and pure in show,
Can only stay for a moment,
And every moment like that snowflake,
Is so unique and can’t be replicated,
It captures our imagination,
As it flutters into our atmosphere,
Staying just for a moment,
And then like the snowflake,
Dwindles into our memory,
As it melts along the glass,
Leaving behind a streak to remind us
To make every moment last.

This epiphany actually happened to me as I was in the car and a snowflake fluttered onto my car window.
