I'm Sorry, that I'm Not Sorry
I'm sorry;
 that I wasn't good enough;
 that I "held on too tightly";
 that I cared for you,
 and you didn't care for me.

 I'm sorry;
 that I did everything I could to make you happy;
 that I couldn't help but want to be around you;
 that I tried,
 and was scorned for it by you.

 I'm sorry;
 that I did all these things for you;
 that I put my heart into you;
 that I hurt you,
 and you had hurt me so, so much more.

 I'm not sorry;
 that I couldn't put up with it more;
 that I let you tear me apart;
 that I had to break your heart,
 and don't think it didn't hurt me too.

 I'm sorry,
 that I'm not sorry.
