What am I doing?
This situation isn’t meant for me.
I’m only a freshman.
Too stupid to see what’s there.
It’s right in front of me.
Why don’t I open my eyes?
Perhaps it’s because I cannot see underwater.
Never knowing what I’m getting into.
I took a life’s worth of pills.
But I’m still breathing.
I’m convinced I don’t have meaning
I bleed it all away.
The hurtful words, the bullets I take.
Everyday my hopes and dreams fade
As my heart begins to stop.
Just want you to know how beautiful I am.
But I can’t hear the voices.
The ones who care.
The bad is screaming over them.
Suddenly you’re a stranger.
And then I forget myself.
Just a freshman.
