Who Are You?
Who are you?
I pride myself
On reading people,
On knowing them,
On understanding.
But who are you?
You are an enigma.
You are an unknown.
A mystery I'll never
Have the chance to solve.
And that drives me insane.
You're a contradiction.
You push people
Whenever it pleases you.
You teach children
How to ski.
You demonstrate intelligence
To make others feel inferior.
You once suffered
So I wouldn't have to.
Who are you?
What are you?
Why are you
The way you are?
I'll never know,
I missed my chance.
But I will wonder
Forever and a day.
