Green is a powerful color
It coats the scales of dragons
Grows on the blocks
of long standing castles
Reaches to the sky as trees
The only color suitable for leprechauns
and their pot of gold

Red is an angry color
It covers the face of a displeasured man
Splashes across slashed bodies
Lights up the sky before a storm

Blue is a calm color
It rolls against the sand
Brings joy to the day
And quiet to the night
Licks at the top of warm flames
Brings eternal silence to space

Yellow is an awkward color
It is to bright to blend
People wear it to stand out
It pushes the sun away from the encircling planets
Hides on paper in crayon and colored pencil

Brown is dirty color
It embodies dust on its journey
Mixes with water into sloshy mud
Creeps through disturbed water
The envy of all moms

White is a pure color
It remains blank and unstained
Too bright for the naked eye
Has to be alone in the wash
Stands for the almighty heavens

The imagery you used is beautiful. The ones I liked the most were the green dragons and mossy castles. Your poem also made me start thinking about what I associated each color with: I couldn't think of any good ones. In other words, thumbs up! This was another "job well done".
