He was a mix of you
and everything you hated
Pure perfections
always purely tainted.
After trying so hard
to leave my past behind
You captured my heart
while invading my mind.
Those summer nights
could still be ours
I miss the times
we shined like stars.
We could try again
this time we'll remember
not all love's sublime,
there's pain mixed with splendor.
