Meanings In Life

i told my dad
he had to make it work with his new wife and kids
before i lose faith in the whole idea of family
i ended it
with an "lol"
but its scary how truthful
that one little comment was
just like
i told my friend
he had to make it work with his new girlfriend
because he was my last hope
in the notion of love
i need those things
to stay true
because
if you can't be happy
with your family
if you can't love forever
then what's the point of it all
