Reach for the sky

With a sigh I look down at my hand. The brown tone only amplified by the moon's light rays. I stop for a moment ,and sit near the loose fence. The grounds cold but i don't mind. I inhale a bit on my cigarette and let my thought out along with that cloudy mist into the night sky. Blocking out the stars in my fog , I reach up to grab one. "Not tonight!" I shout in my head,but one day I'll reach them.
