The red, white & blue is what we defend
The red, white & blue is what shall not bend
We fight and we shoot to protect those of ours
We live this life so they can live theirs
As bullets fly by, we duck down
Avoiding death's grasp by this simple movement down
Never knowing if we are going to live or die
But knowing that it is all worth the while
