Sober
As i wait my breath is still,
to hear the news of a possible kill.
Is it true? His life is over?
If only he could've just stayed sober.
My hands shake, my heart is pounding,
In my head the sirens are sounding.
Tears burst as they hit the ground,
the hope of life plummeting down.
Here i stand, the sequence deceiving,
Yet there he lye, his chest still breathing.
