gone but not forgotten

I'm not going to say i understand
i don't, Ive never been through that pain
but i will be here to hold your hand
and tell you that you are still sane
unmeasurable pain. a loss so great
mothers are beautiful angels of love
your heart must be filled with such hate
wondering why god took her up above
but know, i will always be here for you,
and know shes looking down on you
