My subconscious becomes cautious
It conflicts with my conscience.
It’s nonsense.
I could use some change right now.
Pocket full of cool metal
Is at least something to hold,
The same value as paper
Just not as easy to fold.
If you could hear me right now
It might all make sense,
but dimes on deaf ears
Can’t pay for relevance
It’s nonsense.

What a great poem. I am sure you have a lot of these trinkets of treasure in your subconscious. Looking forward to reading more of these.
