The Sun Sets
The sun sets, leaving hues of pinks and oranges trailing after it in the night sky
The sun sets, leaving hues of pinks and oranges trailing after it in the night sky
The hues disappear and suddenly only a dark, somber black is visible to the eyes
The wind begins to blow fast, fierce, and then it lets out a soft sigh
Somewhere in the distance there is a howling, an hoot, and then a silent cry...
It seems as if nothing is there, no light, no path
It seems as if there is just an endless journey, one without hope, without promise...
But, if you look up at the night sky once again, you see stars twinkling....
And then you realize... someone is always there... Watching protecting, just making sure that
you're alright
