I remember the day we met
your eyes
you hair
your smell
you smiled at me the kindest smile i had ever seen
I remember the day we met
your confidence
your kindness
your laugh
you made life seem perfect for a minute
that was before you left
I remember the day we met
your wave when you said goodbye
my heart stopped beating as I watched you walk away
never to be seen again
