the pain of death and the cure of new life

In the ground I weep from the pain
Death. The worms squirm through my body
And I cannot fight back, I stay there and decay
Day by day, and wait for the new life to begin. I would
Not let my wife be cremated for I knew of the pain that follows
I mourn for this life to end, to be brought on to a new one. I cannot
Speak nor move my body, for the soul is still trapped, but it feels as if
I am trapped in a paralized body. I lay awake in endless darkness,
But as I am dead I feel still alive, the new life will pass on when
The time is right. So I lay here all day and night. The stench
Of my skin is too much to bear, but I cant change that
Which has already been done. So I lay here and wait
For the full decay of my body. And wait to hear my
Wife's voice again when she comes to vistit my
Grave. I can feel my decay coming to an
End and when that moment comes I will
Feel inner peace. For forever and
Eternity. I will wait a few more
Days for the passing and
Will finally be done with
The pain. Goodbye and
