I witness My Nation suffering, the terrible cries I see,
The girl with big goals, suffering as she accepts her dreams are close to impossible,
The single mother, suffering, with another disappointing paycheck,
The drunken father, suffering as he spends his last,
The homeless suffering, abandoned and hopeless on the streets, The low income workers,
suffering as they try to support their children,
The loving families suffering, when they can’t pay their bills, again this month, The
suffering of My Nation working hard, not receiving enough, The caring minority
suffering, as they help others when they themselves need the help,
Everyone suffering, with a story, different plot,
The poor struggles always? the rich live well,
Suffering while life goes on.
