The Rain

Love is like Rain;
It sometimes brings Pain.
It starts as a sprinkle;
A friendship's slight twinkle.
The speed increases to a decent drizzle;
That friendship starts to sizzle.
Still it comes down, yet more quickly;
A relationship forms slickly.
It starts to pour;
Their love they adore.
Light begins to flash;
Their relationship becomes rash.
Then the storm calms;
Their marriage embraced with open palms.
The rain stops, ignoring the past;
That couples lives finished at last.
