I have lived a life so far
But I wouldn’t say it has been one I’ve enjoyed
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a devastating moment detecting radar
None of this destruction and loss had I employed
People say they know defeat
Never have things gone this wrong
Where I had tripped up and fumbled
The road I’m on seems so long
There’s no end to my misery
I do know though that this is a phase
I will overcome the agony
And get out of this maze
My friends are here for me
I trust them because the finish line they say they can see

So very true, and how many times I've felt like this. We are made to succeed. Life has downs, but it also has its ups. Very great, true, and inspiring is your poem here and your other poems. Thanks for sharing this, your poem.
