I am Me
Play superman for a moment.
See the scars I have suffered over the years.
Like superman, no one ever saved me.
Myths come and go but one I will always believe always: A woman can do whatever she puts her mind to do.
I saved myself. Not superman, I am not but I became Me.
I sewed up the wounds. I cried a river of broken dreams. I grew up to be strong.
My river of broken dreams is more like a stream now. No longer suffering, I am living as I used to wonder and dream about. I am Me.
