Dear Bookshelf,

How does it feel to carry all those books? I couldn't possibly stand the strain! I couldn't possibly stand to see only the titles and covers of the books! To never read them would hurt me so!
How does it feel to hold whole worlds on your shoulders? How much does a fantasy weigh? Is a tragedy heavier than a romance?
Can you tell if a hero is hiding within the texts of a book? Can you sense an approaching villain [lurking] between [the] pages?
Do different genres have different smells? Is a comedy lighter than a love story? Will a book about anger burn twice as

Fast? Do books about sadness float or sink? Do you enjoy holding my books [all] into

Place? Tell me, how is your life as a bookshelf?

With all

due respect and gratitude,

Uhmme!
