Look up to see him smiling
The smile that makes my day
He picks me up as usual and asks
Mija how was your day?
I tell him the good
And tell him the bad
But never can I mope
When I talk to my dad
He’s been there through all
The good and the bad
I love him with everything
He’s my dad
Hes picked me up when im down
Supported my hopes and dreams
Hes been there every step of the way
Hes even been there through all the tears and screams
I love my dad he’s my everything
I know he loves me too
I have always told him these words
Dad “I wanna be just like you”
