Fear, what is it?
Phobia is what others describe it as
Some describe it as scared
Me, I describe it as
Unknown
I think of it as the mind
The body, the spirit
I feel it in my lungs
As I breathe in the air
I feel it in my stomach
Tying in a twisted knot
I feel it in my heart
Always afraid of letting someone go
It is the sun warming our skin
The blood running through our veins
Fear is all around
But what fear really is
Fear is us
