She Was a Daddy's Girl

She was a daddy’s girl-
Sweet brown curls,
Dazzling eyes,
Beautiful smile,
Pure-
Innocent-
Perfect-

She was a daddy’s girl-
‘Till daddy decided to,
Hold hands with,
The monster-
Crystal,
Evil-
Beastly-
Imperfect-

She was a daddy’s girl-
Incorruptible-
Honest-
Good-

She was a daddy’s girl-
‘till daddy morphed into the-
Monster,
By himself-
His choice-
His fault-
She was never a daddy’s girl-
After that.

Inspired by my dad and his addiction. Other teens should know they are not alone with having someone who once was or is close to them that has an addiction.
