Everything is Not a Dream

Day by day goes by
Tears fill her eyes
Pain and sorrow in her heart
Wishing it was a dream
But yet everyone’s crushed

He was a great man
Always showed laughter and joy
No one knew what would be coming
How fast it would happen
And what would be the cause

A wife, a daughter, a son’s worst nightmare
The family gathered
It seemed like no one was prepared
The news was coming
Dead silence filled the air

He was gone
Another man lost in this world
He meant so much
No one wanted to let go
Yet he would have wanted you to

Heartache and pain
