Since it was winter,
It was cold.
Since it was cold,
It snowed.
Since it snowed,
School got canceled.
Since school got canceled,
Kids didn’t go to school.
Since kids didn’t go to school,
Fred went sledding.
Since Fred went sledding,
Fred broke a bone.
Since Fred broke a bone,
The ambulance had to come pick him up.
Since the ambulance had to pick him up,
The ambulance went speeding down the highway.
Since the ambulance went speeding down the highway,
The ambulance had to pass a lot of cars.
Since the ambulance had to pass a lot of cars,
John’s car got rammed off the road.
Since John’s car got rammed off the road,
John got knocked out.
Since John got knocked out,
John couldn’t go home.
Since John couldn’t go home,
His dog chewed up the rug.

What inspired me to write this piece was my block teacher and all of my friends that helped me with ideas for this poem.

It's got a nice laout and I love the continuity but ends so abrubtly.. Like it ...

Nice poem, but I feel as if the ending came upon suddenly - since the whole poem seemed to be building up towards something more strong than that.
