"The people who are trying to make this world worse aren't taking a day off... How can I? Light up the darkness."

This one is for all of the kids,
with dirt under their nails from climbin outta the pits
where the summers get hot and the winters are cold
where everyday life gives reason that'll splinter ya soul,
my homie back home now he livin life strapped on
only ever been told by the world where he can't go
but when i make it I'ma fly ya out for breakfast in paris
and I'll buy my baby girl that gold necklace she starin at,
I got love for the underdog
ya got my applaud when ya slip a hand under that wonder bra
I'd say F the world and i don't need reason cause
I believe in the kid that ya'll dont believe in,
racism and gang violence opposition gettin crazy
we should be taught as toddlers in this world of hating
I'm not insane, I'll have ya wondering maybe
cause a babe don't see a color, he just see another baby

But I still find joy.

Another freestyle, 'nother verse for the cypher
the rich get richer, the poor hurt to get hired
they cut education, expexct learnin be higher?
naa cause educated youth can murder empires.
Why instead of us wanting to be brothers,
we embrace the hatred and plot against each other?
Same bullet, same blast, we takin the same course
when these neighborhood guns comin from the same source.
I wanna give the world the best of me
but if i preach peace, I'm guaranteed to Rest In Peace,
I try to find comfort in lambourghini dreams
turn my back on reality, whats happenin to me?
Look to the skies and above, no guidance and love
drawn into life as corrupt till the Sirens've come,
I wonder what my lifes for.. then i see
the eyes of my peers and rememeber what i fight for

I still find joy

The author's comments:
2 verse rap about what I see in society and problems involving the youth, especially in my community.

I know this is grammatically incorrect in several ways, but its supposed to flow to a hip hop beat ("The Joy" by Kanye West).
