tear drops are falling,
dripping down a delicate nose,
why so much sorrow?
sorrow plagues the heart
weighs it down as lost love.
tear drops are falling,
racing down flushed cheeks,
will they ever stop?
unstoppable, always present
flowing as though a dam broke.
tear drops are falling,
making pretty eyes shine.
tears fall,
leaving streaks down a slight face,
diamonds pouring prom eyes,
each sorrowful memory fades.
