Superhero

I dreamed as a young child
Of being a superhero.
A new kind of Wonder Woman
That saved the world.
That dream was extinguished
Many years ago
But recently resurfaced
When I saw you walk into the room.
I felt my ears turn red
And spread to my cheeks
But I stood tall
And watched you come.
I never knew I was a superhero
But now it’s easy to see
Because my superpower
Is invisibility.
