I am living proof
Of if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger
I've endured injury after injury
I'm still here
Working,waiting for the next chance to shine
I'm clueless as to when that time will be
But I'm training
I am not even acknowledging pain at this point
I want the gold to much to notice
I want to shine
Yes, Injures are setbacks
But they will heal

The author's comments:
I'm an athlete. Sports are a HUGE part of my life. There comes a time in every athletes life where something keeps tearing them down. Weather it be a injury, illness, there is a never ending list of thing that keep athletes from getting there time to shine. Trust me I know, I am one of the most injury prone people I know. But i never stop training. I don't even slow down. I just ice it when I'm not working, and rap it when I am. I want my time to shine.
