By Myself: One does not grow from discovery, but from understanding.

I carry a weight on my shoulders
One that sometimes lifts my chin up
and sometimes makes it hit the floor
But there are others under this wait helping me
Wether they know it or not

Ever since it started
I never saw the light at the end of the tunnel
Just darkness
Step after step I wandered
Thinking my life would turn to shambles
And then came a man
Who had no food
Just a sign
So I took him to the grocery store and bought him something
A sandwich
And now matter what
He wouldn’t take anything else
And thats when I realized
Thats all I needed
A sandwich
Maybe I was the lettuce
Or the meat
All I knew
Is that I needed a place to belong
In the world
And now I found it
I belong with words
In the endless encyclopedia of the universe
Writing what I believe in
how I feel
and how things should be and are
how change needs to occur

So I sit now writing this
To tell you that the world needs to change we need to change
My father doesn’t only need to be found innocent
Thats not what I mean
I mean the world
A group including all of man
needs to change now
how we need to change is up to us
the next generation

It turns out we have less time to live
less time to change
so lets do it now
so we can sit on a beach in mexico
While you all drink margaritas
And Ill stick to my religiously legal coke
Maybe for celebration
Ill make it a virgin margarita
But all I know
Is we have to change
Now
