Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore!" - Edgar Allan Poe

The world contains a beauty only true eyes can see
A hue of each emotion lets our mind and soul run free
Up above, the sun shines bright and brings a warming glow
Rejoice and glee and happiness are joined to make yellow
Let fury rage inside our chest and screech an angry hiss
When red is felt, it brings a halt to joy and tender bliss
Shed a tear for blue is sad and can set your day way down
Dreariness and shadowed ghouls may cause your face to frown
Green brings to life a feeling that springs the mind to think
With nature walking in your path don’t ever stop to blink
Calmness hits the surface with a twist of still explosions
A wave of orange can speed a pace or stand you in slow motion
Extravagant and powerful, violet speaks of royal desire
A temperate, gentle trace only lifts your spirit higher
Racing with sensations, each color demonstrates its best
Representing different outlooks from one pigment to the next
With a bright and cheerful sun, or a blue, unhappy ocean
Know that life without color is a world without emotion

Every color expresses a mood, memory or feeling. Without color what would the world be?
