Overcome
I feel it burning beneath my skin,
just begging for escape.
This dragon blowing smoke in my face,
causing these flames beneath my flesh.
I've watched in agony,
as others get torn apart,
we aren't the Mayans,
don't just rip out their hearts.
My insides are boiling,
as you all stand and laugh,
at another's misery.
I'll make you all feel my wrath.
So badly I want to let the tears escape,
but I must be strong for my comrades sake.
Let them see I'll make it all right,
Never will I stop in this fight.
