Swiftly struck by an arrow
I am enamored with more than your sweet visage.
The tongue that brings such beautiful language forth.
Those bright eyes, illuminated with the warmth of devotion.
Seeing not with those glistening windows, but with the sagacious soul beneath.
Moth-light fingertips illicit happiness from the depths of a forgotten heart.
Our Cupid's Oath uttered in whispers softer than the first snow.
Oh, hark! Hear my vow, brought on by the progeny of Venus.
I am eternally yours, in love and out.
Such glorious peace could I never find in another.
My heart is not mine own, now clasped close in the palms of another.
Beating not only with fragile life, but with delicate affection.
Safely guarded by one lovelier than I, more compassionate than I.
Forever.
