Day in and Day out
manipulated by this syringe
Leaving contusions at which I cringe
My soldiers of circulatory
Make their standard rounds
Til a sliver of silver comes
without making a sound
Turmoil ensues, interior to exterior
No longer are there bounds
A hue stained with no color
Something so pure yet it brings fright
Drowning out surroundings
All this sterile white, so bright
Blinds the terror of sight
Crimson
So be calm, lay back
Fake smiles, intervention
As they whisk you away
Time for prevention.
