The Hope for Perfection

Looking into those amber eyes I felt at ease
All the pressures and stresses would leave
A feeling of euphoria I got exactly what I dreamed of
All the darkness I could escape from
Our hands clasped together I never felt better
Eye to eye nothing could stop us
A feeling of being infinite
A feeling of being unstoppable
Four weeks it took to change
A moment where it all went to pieces
It seemed to be a complete misperception
I was so invested
For him it quickly ended
